Micro miniature screw-on connector, operating in the range DC-34 GHz.

Introduced in 1960, SSMA work up to a higher frequency than SMA due to its smaller size. It is standardized according to MIL-STD-348, figure 319. SSMA is mostly used in maintenance of existing equipment. For new projects, we advise to use SMP or SMP-LOCK.
