Irma is an Inside Sales Representative at our Obregón office.

Q. When did you start at Radiall and what did you do?

A. I started Radiall as an inside sales representative in 2019.

Q. Can you tell us more about your current role?

A. As an inside sales representative, I am in charge of customer requests and act as a middle point between customers and our manufacturing plants.

Q. What do you enjoy most about your work?

A. I enjoy getting to help customers with what they need and assisting my team in completing all the requests that come our way.

Q. What is a typical day like for you at Radiall?

A. First thing in the morning, I review my email, process all of the requests I’ve received, create quotes and finalize orders as requested by customers and often attend customer status meetings to know the status of each project. I also process expedited requests so we can help our customers stay on schedule.

Q. What's the best advice you have for people wanting to succeed in a customer service oriented position?

A. It’s very important to have excellent communication skills, always prioritize helping the customer and make sure you maintain a good balance of taking care of the customer and your organization.

Q. What’s been the proudest moment in your career at Radiall?

A. My proudest moment in my career at Radiall was when one of my main customers granted us the award for Supplier of the Year!

Q. How do you build relationships with customers and identify their needs?

A. You need to be willing to go the extra mile, treat them with respect and as you would like to be treated. I was a material planner or buyer in the past, so that helps me put myself in their shoes and better understand their requests to try and help them in the best way possible.

Q. How would you define good customer service?

A. Good customer service involves someone that works to provide or accommodate as much as possible to the customer needs without being overseen that we need to take care of the company’s interests at the same time.
