Heavy Duty Interconnect Solutions for Rail on Display at Expo Ferroviaria

This month, Radiall attended Expo Ferroviaria in Milan, Italy. This three-day exhibition is a B2B event exclusively for the railway industry in Italy. The event is an opportunity for industry leaders to showcase solutions for rolling stock technology, track and infrastructure, signaling and communications that help to make rail and public transit efficient and safe.

For the first time at a trade show, we featured the PWK Single Pole Power Connector up to 600A. Another first-time product feature was the PW3 power connector with three poles individually shielded and insulated. This gave attendees the opportunity to see new technologies that can help their next project.

We also had an application example of a power distribution unit equipped with RF CVBS power connectors and PWK power connectors. This allowed visitors the chance to see how our products could be incorporated into a rail system.

The GM modular connector can withstand a variety of harsh environments, which makes it perfect for vehicles on a railway. The GM connectors thanks  to  an heavy-duty rubber coupling are fully protected from shocks. We also featured the patented snap n pull version with emergency disconnect system.
