Radiall Around the World (Fall 2020)
In the past few months, Radiall employees all around the world have taken steps to stay safe at work, reduce Radiall's carbon footprint and encourage each other during a difficult year. Read about a few of our internal initiatives below.
Promoting Safety at Work
Radiall's HSE teams launched a a company-wide campaign to promote safety at work and make employees aware of the accidents that can occur on production sites. We are utilizing posters and safety trainings to achieve zero accidents in the workplace. We will work toward this goal by adopting safe practices at work and fostering a culture that values safety.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
Did you know that a 1 MB email uses the same amount of electricity as a 60 W lightbulb that's on for 20 minutes? In an effort to better care for the planet by reducing electricity usage, Radiall's Digital Ambassadors challenged employees to clean out their inboxes. So far, employees have deleted over 800,000 emails—the equivalent of a 60 W lightbulb running for 19 continuous years!
Encouraging Co-workers
2020 has been a difficult year for nearly everyone. One way we have been promoting positivity at work is through our Kudos Walls. These virtual and physical spaces give employees the opportunity to recognize co-workers for jobs well done and offer encouragement to other teams.
