ST60 Horn Antennas

Our ST60 SMT horn antennas have been developed in partnership with STMicroelectronics (STM)

The objective of this collaboration is to create short range, contactless data links at very high data rates (up to 6 Gbit/s), with ultra-low power consumption. Thanks to STM’s chip and Radiall’s antenna, now you can create high data rate links in a completely sealed environment without physical contact, cable assemblies or jumpers.

Main applications for ST60 horn antennas: 
        - Wall displays
        - 2 in 1 PC / tablet
        - Docking station
        - Any in-line Board-to-Board connection

For multi-link applications, Radiall has implemented two types of compact horn antennas; one has vertical polarization, and the other has horizontal polarization. This will enable us to create multi-link connections that increase data flow. 

These antennas are compatible with pick and place processes, thanks to their design and form factor (8.25 x 7.4 x 3.4 mm). They can withstand reflow processes up to 260 °C. Additionally, these antennas operate in unlicensed V-Band, with directivity higher than 8 dBi. The commercial grade can operate from -40 °C to +85 °C, and the industrial grade can operate from -40 °C to 125 °C. Our ST60 SMT horn antennas are ROHS and REACH compliant.
