Steps

  1. Cut "X" in the core of each sprout (or cut large ones in half), set aside.
  2. Place bacon in large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally until evenly browned, about 10 minutes, drain and cool on paper towel, crumble.
  3. Heat 1 tsp of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir garlic until golden brown, 3-5 minutes. Add sprouts; toss to coat. Stir in broth, salt and pepper, cover and cook until sprouts are tender, 12-14 min. Drain liquid from pan.
  4. Stir remaining 2 tsp butter into sprouts mixture until melted. mix in bacon and serve.
