Chloe is a Strategic Market Manager at Radiall Isle D’Abeau.

Q. How long have you worked at Radiall?

A. 7 months.

Q. Can you tell us more about your role?

A. A strategic market manager is transversal to all Business Units (BUs) and regions. It aims at defining a global go-to-market strategy and assisting the different teams in its implementation. For my part, I’m a market manager focused on growth markets, supporting Radiall’s global expansion efforts and concentrating on three key sectors: medical, eVTOL and nuclear. I also support other transversal marketing topics. For example, I coordinate a pillar of our environmental strategy and support the implementation of a new costing system.

Q. What is a typical day like for you at Radiall?

A. I start with opening my emails, because I work with a lot of different people at Radiall (product managers, sales teams, other corporate teams etc.). I always have at least one strategic study to work on and try to keep at least 2 hours per day to concentrate on it (for example: defining the global offer for medical market, identifying the main areas of opportunities for eVtol market). In parallel, I have several meetings during the day to move on all these different topics with the teams.

Q. What do you like most about your work?

A. What I specifically like in my job is to be in contact and make the link between a lot of different teams and profiles. I like to have a functional position, allowing me to work on all different products’ lines, with all different product managers and Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) and at the same time to work with all regional sales teams to catch market needs and requirements.

Q. Why is diversification important in a marketing context and how does it impact a company’s growth strategy?

A.Diversification at Radiall means broadening and strengthening our presence across multiple growth markets. Beyond the development of new markets, this strategy is driven by several additional objectives, including: 1/ reduce our dependency to our core markets and balance the risks 2/ find new sources of revenues, develop new growth levers and 3/ develop on more “people and planet” markets to reduce our scope 3 carbon emissions.

Q. What strategies or resources do you use to research and understand the industries and markets you are exploring for expansion?

A. First and foremost, I work with all teams and collect, gather, synthesize all visions and knowledge on a market. Second, I collect and read specialized press and studies to complete my understanding of the market. I also work with Radiall services which helps with data crunching. Third, I benchmark the competition to identify the trends and drivers of the market.

Q. What trends or opportunities in the market are you most excited about and how do you see them shaping Radiall’s growth?

A.The market is undergoing major transformations, especially in areas such as eVTOL, which I find particularly exciting as it contributes to shaping the mobility of tomorrow. At the same time, new geopolitical and environmental challenges are pushing companies to rethink their positioning, supply chains and long-term strategies. I see these changes as strong opportunities for Radiall to leverage its expertise, innovate and strengthen its role as a trusted partner in critical and high-value markets.
