Investing in the Future of Female Engineering

On International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate the women who have impacted and are impacting the interconnect industry and the industries we serve. We are living during a time when more and more women are pursuing STEM careers. Last year (2021), women held 32% of STEM jobs, up from 12% in 2019. We know that Radiall would not be the company it is today without the innovative women we have on our teams. Their ideas and talent make our company and our products stronger.

Knowing how much women engineers can change the world, we want to do what we can to help young women pursue STEM careers and follow their dreams. This month, we are donating to the Society of Women Engineers and the IEEE Women in Engineering fund.

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) organizes scholarships for women pursuing engineering careers. In 2020, they gave or renewed 260 scholarships, valued over $1,000,000. Every donation makes engineering one step closer for young women. Learn more about SWE.

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) has a fund that supports educational activities to promote and advance women in engineering and science. Learn more about IEEE WIE.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women who make this world a better place, whether that’s through an engineering career or something else.
