LC-T fiber optic connector for ultra tight cable structure
Radiall releases a range of standard interface fiber optic connectors specially designed for ultra tight cable structure (type ABS0963-003LF used in aeronautic and harsh environment applications).
The distinctiveness of this cable is that all the elements are tightened thus preventing any movement of the fiber inside buffer and jacket.
Such a structure requires special parts and a new installation process to guarantee the free sliding of the 900 µm buffer inside the jacket and the pull-proof characteristics of this "Physical Contact" connector family.

A black color boot differentiates these new connectors from the standard version.
The LC connector has successfully undergone vibration and shock tests according to ARINC 801 specification.
