New layouts available for ARINC 600 - NSX series
Radiall introduces new insert and contact layouts for ARINC 600 connectors.
Radiall's NSX series (ARINC 600 standard) are multipin rack and panel connectors used to connect high performance avionic equipment. Radiall extends the insert and contact product offer with a new size 10 contact.
Features & Benefits
With this extension you have the following possibilities for the contacts:
- Size 10 concentric twinax contacts offer higher density than size 8 contacts
- Size 10 pin and socket concentric twinax contacts available for EN3375-006D twinax cable (78ohm)
- PC tail pin contacts available in four ARINC 600 standard PC tail lengths
- Lead free versions can be ordered
- Also available are size 10 plug cavity reducers
For the inserts:
- Non environmental inserts are now available and qualified for FR/FR PC tail contacts for PCB application and RR/RR contacts for crimp terminations (*)
- Aluminum inserts ensure the #8 and #10 ground to the shell with a maximum resistance of 10 milliohms
- 3 Arrangement possibilities: 15T6Q2, 13T13, 18T18
(*) FR/FR: front release and front removable - RR/RR: rear release and rear removable
