Multipin Connectors
INFORMATION REGARDING RoHS COMPLIANCE STATUS
Radiall complies with the RoHS directive for most multipin catalog items. Some product families are 100% RoHS compliant while others are not because they are made in accordance with standard MIL or other specifications and as such cannot be modified. However, Radiall is actively working on proposing alternative solutions.
The following describes the RoHS status of our catalog series:
- EPXA & EPXB: connectors are RoHS compliant;
- HDQX & QM: connectors are RoHS compliant;

NSX ARINC 600: connectors are not RoHS compliant, with the exception of NSX connectors with nickel shell finish which are RoHS compliant when supplied with crimp, gold plated PC-tail or pure tin dipped PC-tail contacts (excluding size 1 coax contact);

DSX ARINC 404 or MIL 81659 connectors are not RoHS compliant with the exception of DSX connectors with nickel shell finish which are RoHS compliant when supplied with crimp or PC-tail contacts;

MPX EN3682 / MIL DTL 83527 connectors are not RoHS compliant;

R8 MIL DTL 38999: optical circular connectors are ROHS compliant except with shell finish ‘O’ (olive drab cadmium);

MB MM MBC connectors are RoHS compliant;

MMC connectors are RoHS compliant with the exception of the metallic shrouds.
