Rapid deployment
In addition to its broad range of fiber optic interconnect solutions*, RADIALL offers a new solution for field rapid deployment applications in harsh environments: PROBEAM®.
The interconnection is made through an optical lens in order to increase the size of the beam on the output of the connector. Each connector can be mated without using an adapter in between. There are no polarization and no gender issues as the concept is hermaphroditic and brings essential flexibility to the field.

Robust construction with shock absorber
The expanded beam technology makes it:
- less sensible to dust and pollution than other technologies
- handle a high number of matings as there is no physical contact between optical parts

- Fiber Link between equipment:
PROBEAM® plug to plug cable assemblies, from short length and up to long length (500m or even more), the long cable is placed inside a metallic reel for easy management or with the back pack option for fast deployment on the field.
- Fiber link inside the equipment:
The PROBEAM® receptacle can be placed on a wall or panel of the equipment and each simplex cable terminated with standard connector such as ST, SC, LC...The other end can be connected to an optical transceiver or receiver.
Cable assemblies are available with a choice of multimode or singlemode fiber with two or four channels.
