Featuring SMP-MAX for Maximum Mechanical Misalignment Tolerances

Radiall is proud to announce the expansion of its cost-effective SMP-MAX series with new symmetrical adapters and RF coaxial interconnect solutions for board-to-board, module-to-module and panel-to-panel telecom applications.

In addition, an unprecedented number of over 60 specific SMP-MAX connector designs have been developed over a very short 18 month period for global telecom customers, making SMP-MAX one of the fastest growing series in the RF industry. SMP-MAX is currently being deployed in numerous wireless telecom projects in North America, Europe, and Asia, as a cost-effective solution that is adaptable to virtually any configuration.

New SMP-MAX large misalignment solution has a patented impedance matching insulator that is optimized for a larger operating gap between connectors making it easier for engineers to handle any project.

The new SMP-MAX symmetrical adapters eliminate the risk of assembly errors during manufacturing.

Spring-loaded connectors

Radiall's IMP-Spring, SMP-Spring and MMBX-Spring are ideal spring-loaded solutions for both increased board-to-board distance misalignment tolerances of up to .078” (2 mm) and a tilt (radial travel) of up to 4.5 degrees.  In addition, these spring-loaded solutions have a consistent low VSWR, down to 1.15 at 3 GHz, and low RF leakage.

Limited Misalignment

Radiall's one connector IMP and three connectors SMP and MMBX limited misalignment series are designed for applications requiring relatively precise distance tolerance up to .023 (0.6mm) with a tilt (radial travel) up to 4.5 degrees.
