In early 2008, Radiall launched TestPro, a new range of coaxial test cable assemblies for test benches.
Radiall has developed RF cable assemblies for test applications with new very stable cable and highly ruggedized stainless steel connectors with SMA, N and PC7 types. The combination of precise cable design and connector interface with a unique attachment method offers a very reliable product that you can connect and disconnect over and over.

TestPro 4.2
TestPro 4.2 delivers the best overall characteristics. Compared to the competitor's product, TestPro 4.2 is best in class for VSWR and for insertion loss/phase stability with flexure. Plus its connectors are extremely robust which allows for more durability with 5000 mating cycles guaranteed! This combination as well as its outstanding 10,000 cable flexure life cycle allows for TestPro 4.2 to last longer and as a result, the customer saves valuable dollars in the long term by not replacing the product as often.
TestPro 5 & TestPro 8
TestPro 5 and TestPro 8 standard cable assemblies are required when loss becomes an issue. They feature a wide operating temperature range of -70/+125 ºc. TestPro 5 and TestPro 8 are guaranteed for 5000 mating cycles durability and a 5,000 cable flexure life cycle.

Applications
TestPro 4.2 “Phase Stable” is suitable for test benches in production or labs thanks to its very long life and great stability in use.
TestPro 5 & 8 “Ultra Low Loss” allows for the use of long length cables with remote test stations and anechoic chambers. Their high temperature stability makes them easy to use in temperature chambers. They are also suitable for high power.

Radiall’s TestPro RF cable assembly range is expanding again its extensive range of TestPro RF cable assemblies with new, affordable and high-performance DC-40 GHz TestPro 3 for test bench applications.
Precision engineered with advanced materials, TestPro 3 cables are designed for extreme stability and flexibility. The cables have been tested for bending stability according to IEC 966-1, bending method N degreenumber 2. Results show excellent phase stability of 5 degrees typical with bending at 40 GHz. To meet the requirements for stability with handling during bench test use, the cables also offer loss stability of less than 0.1 dB variation with bending and 0.03 dB with shaking through the maximum frequency of 40 GHz. In addition, the cable and connectors are designed for long life, rated for a minimum of 20,000 bending cycles and 5,000 mating cycles. The cable assemblies also feature robust center contact retention that outperforms all other competitors.
