Hermetically sealed SMA connectors
Interconnect solution designed for Military, Aerospace, Telecom and Industrial applications where hermetic seal connectors are requested to maintain a pressurized or vacuum environment inside the package.
Field replaceable connector are designed for high performance thanks to an hermetic feedthrough. Connector are suitable for high temperature applications and feature a low EMI/RFI level.
Two hermeticity levels available with two different technologies:
- The glass seal technology:
Possible to meet an Helium leakage rate lower than 10-8 atm/cm3/sec;
Connector receptacle can be removed from the package for maintenance without any leakage risk.
- The tubular Kovar gasket (without glass seal):
Hermeticity level is 10-6 atm/cm3/sec.
Large choice of SMA hermetic seal connector using 4 different hermetic glass seal types to be placed inside various receptacle designs (plug or jack with 12.7 or 9.5 square flange, narrow flange), panel feedthrough or direct cable attachment.
The Radiall Hermetic SMA product range is becoming lead free (on going process for RoHs compliant).
