Electro-optic active inserts for optical fiber networks in MIL-AERO
Radiall, through its D-Lightsys division, introduces the E-Light family of electro-optic inserts and connectors for on-board optical fiber communications.
This family completes D-Lightsys board-level opto electronics modules portfolio.
The first implementation, within this new family, is the Quadlight electro-optic insert, which consists of an electro optic module fitted within a size 8 Quadrax contact. Quadlight inserts are thus compatible with standard size-8 cavities within Arinc 600, EPX or 38999 connectors.
